PAICAR DA-01 - Hard red foam polishing pad

The DA-01 foam polishing pad has been developed to amplify the performance of the PAICAR 01 polishing compound and to guarantee the best possible result.

The red foam of the DA-01 pad is designed to remove severe oxidation and particularly deep scratches extremely quickly, acting efficiently on most paint and clear coat systems on the market.

For the DA-01 pad, a rigid (hard cut) foam was selected, with density and PPI (pores per inch) characteristics that ensure high durability, absolute stability, retention of shape and hardness throughout the entire polishing process, as well as homogeneous maneuverability, without a "grabbing" effect.

Combined with the PAICAR 01 polishing compound, the red DA-01 sponge offers an extremely high cutting capacity: it allows for the reduction of scratches and defects that would be impossible to eliminate with softer pads.

For this reason, the DA-01 pad is frequently used with a rotary polishing machine to further increase its cutting power. However, the special shape of this sponge is also designed to work flawlessly with dual-action (orbital) polishers, allowing for the polishing of narrower or hard-to-reach areas, while also reducing the risk of overheating or burning the clear coat.

The 25 mm height improves operator sensitivity and ensures a more stable process, free of vibrations. Furthermore, to keep the temperature as low as possible, an open-cell foam structure was chosen, which allows for heat dissipation and keeps the surface cooler during polishing.

The open-cell structure and foam density also help to optimize the use of PAICAR 01 compound, reducing product consumption and keeping the pad moist for longer, thus minimizing the need for frequent reloading with compound.

Warnings & Maintenance

• Clean the pad frequently during use using compressed air or a special pad brush.

• Wash by hand or in a washing machine using a special pad/microfiber detergent, without fabric softener.

• Dry naturally, with the foam side facing down, away from direct heat sources.
