PAICAR DA-04 - Fine green foam polishing pad

The DA-04 foam polishing pad was developed to optimize the performance of the PAICAR 04 ultra-fine polishing compound, especially when used in conjunction with a dual-action (orbital) polisher.

The green foam of the DA-04 pad is designed to remove very fine haze, minor defects, and ultra-fine micro-scratches, acting effectively on most paint and clear coat systems on the market.

A soft (ultra-fine finish) foam was selected for the DA-04 pad, featuring density and PPI (pores per inch) characteristics that guarantee high durability, absolute stability, shape retention throughout the entire polishing process, as well as smooth maneuverability without a "grabbing" effect.

Combined with the PAICAR 04 ultra-fine polishing compound, the green DA-04 sponge ensures a superb finish and allows for extremely high levels of gloss. Additionally, its structure is designed to optimize the uniform application of waxes or sealants when the surface is already polished and does not require further correction.

The special shape of this pad was specifically engineered to support dual-action orbital movement, while also allowing for polishing in narrower or hard-to-reach areas and reducing the risk of overheating or burning the clear coat.

The 25 mm height improves operator sensitivity and provides a more stable, vibration-free working process. Also, to keep the temperature as low as possible, an open-cell foam was chosen, which allows for heat dissipation and keeps the surface cool during work.

The open-cell structure and foam density optimize the use of the PAICAR 04 compound, reducing product consumption and keeping the pad moist for longer.

Warnings & Maintenance

• Clean the pad frequently during use using compressed air or an extremely soft brush.

• Wash by hand or in a washing machine using a detergent special for pads/microfibers, without fabric softener.

• Dry naturally, with the foam side facing down, away from direct heat sources.
